(A) Nonmetered parking zones shall be such as may from time to time be established by ordinance. It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle, or to permit a vehicle to remain parked in any nonmetered parking zone in the city for longer than 60 minutes at any one time between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, or 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon on Saturday. Each succeeding period of 60 minutes during which a vehicle occupies a parking space shall be deemed a separate and distinct violation.
(B) The Chief of Police shall have markings painted or placed upon the curb or street adjacent to each parking space for the purpose of designating same as a nonmetered parking space.
