§ 11.01 CORPORATE BOUNDARIES.
   The corporate limits of the city and the boundary thereof shall be as follows:
   Beginning at the old Will Combs Ford in the upper end of the present town of Hazard on the north Bank of the North Fork of the Kentucky River; thence across the river and up the hill on the opposite side thereof to a point on the top of the hill immediately over and above the tunnel between Hazard and Lothair; thence with the top of the hill near the mouth of Lick Branch; thence with the top of the mountain on the left hand side of Lick Branch going up said Branch to the head thereof; thence a straight line from the head of said Lick Branch to the gap of the mountains where the road crosses from Messers Branch to Browns Fork of Big Creek, above Wm. Well's; thence running with the ridge of the point in the gap of the mountain where the road leading from Hazard the mountain at the head of the right hand fork of Messer Branch, Curleys Fork and Tan Trough Branch; thence running around the ridge between Curleys Fork, Tan Trough Branch and Lick Branch to a point where the road from Tan Trough Branch to Lick Branch crosses the mountain; thence down the ridge between Lick Branch and the North Fork River to a point on the top of the mountain just over and above the tunnel leading from Hazard to Lennut; thence a straight line to the center of the North Fork River at a point opposite the bridge over a drain between the residence of Jerry Walker and the property of M.E. Combs; thence up the river to the mouth of the Dripping Rock Hollow; thence up the Dripping Rock Hollow to the top of the hill between the North Fork River and Walker's Branch; thence with the top of the ridge between Walker's Branch and the North Fork River, and running up the ridge to Peters Peak; thence with the ridge so as to include all of the Big Bottom Branch to the head of Laurel Branch; thence down the ridge between Big Bottom Branch, Laurel Branch to a point opposite Will Combs Ford; thence a straight line to the ford the point of beginning.
