10-2-5: PUBLIC TREE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM:
The city administrator, or the administrator's designee, will provide support staff, as needed, for the activities of the community forestry commission. In addition, the city administrator, or the administrator's designee, is responsible for ensuring the following components of the community forestry program are carried out and enforced:
   A.   Completing and updating a city public tree inventory.
   B.   Preparing and implementing the city's public tree management plan (tree planting, maintenance, and removal; checking on tree health; etc.).
   C.   Preparing an annual community forestry budget.
   D.   Educating city residents on the proper care of trees.
   E.   Implementing and enforcing the city of Hayden community forestry ordinance. (Ord. 409, 2-14-2006)
