There is hereby established a Hayden building code board of appeals which shall consist of up to seven (7) members who shall be qualified as required by the building codes adopted by the city. The mayor shall appoint these members with the consent of the city council. Members shall serve at the pleasure of the governing board and may be removed upon majority vote of the city council. Just cause for removal shall include, but not be limited to, neglect of public duties by lack of preparation or diligence, being disruptive of meetings or board procedures, being discourteous to the public served by the board or failing to work cooperatively with other board members, the public or city staff.
