Should the applicant fail to complete the improvements, as defined in the project plans and referenced specifications in accordance with the requirements of the adopted standards for public works construction and such other approved provisions prior to the agreed upon date of completion, the city may complete the project or cause the project to be completed according to the terms of the financial guarantee agreement.
