11-1-1: FEES FOR CERTAIN ACTIVITIES AND PURPOSES:
The Village Board may, in its discretion, waive any fees and deposits that are not otherwise legally required, and that are established in this chapter for the benefit of any government entity or not-for-profit organizations, except for deposits made to reimburse the Village for costs of professional, architectural, planning, engineering and legal services, utility connection fees and fees used to pay the Village's out-of-pocket costs, including, but not limited to publication costs, fees for the services of a court reporter, plan reviews and building inspection fees. Where an ordinance or resolution of the village licenses, regulates or otherwise governs a particular activity or purpose, and a fee or charge is provided for in conjunction therewith, the amount of such fee or charge shall be as follows:
