1-4-10: DIVISION OF QUESTION:
If any question contains several distinct propositions, it shall be divided by the chair at the request of any member, but a motion to strike out and insert shall be indivisible.
Any member may have read any paper in the possession of the council, upon request, unless the same be objected to by some other member, and then the question shall be determined without debate. (Ord. 1, 10-20-1904)
