(A) If a customer fails to bring their containment backflow assembly into compliance within the time frame specified in § 51.089, the City will issue the customer a notice of violation stating the nature of the violation, penalty assessed, corrective actions to be taken, and the required time frame.
(B) Time frames and penalties for violations are as follows:
(1) First offense following notice of noncompliance: $250.
(2) Second offense within 30 days of initial violation: $1,000.
(3) Third offense within 60 days of initial violation: disconnection of water service.
