(A) All containment backflow prevention assemblies connected to the City's water supply shall be routinely tested to verify proper operation, and, if necessary, repaired to restore proper operation.
(B) Testing and repair of backflow prevention assemblies shall be made by a certified backflow prevention assembly tester in accordance with § 51.057(A) and (B).
(C) Testing of backflow prevention assemblies shall be conducted using test equipment which complies with § 51.057(C).
(D) Ownership, testing, and maintenance of backflow prevention assemblies shall be the responsibility of the customer.
