The Utah traffic code, rules of the road, 1974 edition, as compiled, prepared and published as a code in book form by the Utah department of public safety and the Utah municipal league (Utah league of cities and towns), one copy of which has been filed for use and examination by the public in the office of the town clerk, hereby is approved and adopted as the traffic code for the town, except as such code may be altered or modified by the ordinances of the town.
