6.04.040: AUTHORITY TO ENTER UNENCLOSED LOTS:
For the purposes of discharging their duties imposed by this chapter, the animal control officer and duly appointed deputies are authorized, and it is declared to be their duty, to go upon unenclosed lots or lands for the purpose of taking up and into their custody for impounding any animal found running at large, staked, herded, or grazed therein, contrary to the provisions of this chapter.
