1.16.010: WORK BY PRISONERS:
Every person who has violated a municipal ordinance, has been incarcerated in the municipal jail, county jail, prison farm or other place provided by the municipality for the incarceration of such offenders, and who has not paid in full any fine or penalty levied by the municipal judge, shall work for the municipal corporation, at such labor as the person's strength will permit, within or without the place of incarceration, as directed by the supervisor of the place of incarceration, and not exceeding ten (10) hours each working day.
