8.08.060: VIOLATION; PENALTY:
   A.   Any person, firm or corporation, except members of the fire department in the performance of their duties as such and others acting under orders of the chief of the fire department, violating any of the provisions of this chapter, shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not less than five dollars ($5.00) and not more than three hundred dollars ($300.00) for each offense. Members of the fire department, when acting as such, violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be dealt with in accordance with the bylaws of the fire department.
   B.   The application of the penalty provided in subsection A of this section shall not be held to prevent the enforced removal of prohibited conditions and the imposition of one penalty for any violation of this chapter shall not excuse the violation, or permit it to continue; and all persons convicted thereof shall be required to correct or remedy such violation or defective conditions and each violation shall be construed to be a separate offense.
