§ 51.21 HOURS OF OPERATION.
   The city, through the City Council shall regulate the days of operation and the hours for which the landfill shall be open.

§ 51.22 PROHIBITIONS.
   The following activities are prohibited at all times in the municipal landfill:
   (A)   Scavenging operations;
   (B)   Feeding of farm or domestic animals;
   (C)   Discharge of firearms, including BB and pellet guns;
   (D)   Loitering;
   (E)   Open burning of garbage or of refuse containing garbage; and
   (F)   Vandalism.

§ 51.23 STATE REGULATIONS.
   The city shall apply for a license to operate the municipal landfill. Application shall be made to the Department of Environmental Control on forms provided by the Department. No fee shall be charged for such licensing. Each license so issued shall expire five years following its date of issuance, but may be renewed if the city has complied with the provisions of Neb. RS 81-1501 through 81-1532, and the rules and regulations adopted thereunder. It shall be the duty of the Maintenance Department to comply with the rules and regulations prescribed by the Department of Environmental Control for the use and operation of the municipal landfill.
