Within the corporate limits of the city, it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to sell, distribute, lend, give away, exhibit or have in possession for any such purposes any obscene, lewd or immoral book, pamphlet, paper, magazine, writing, advertisement, circular or newspaper, or to offer to sell, distribute, lend, give away, exhibit or have in possession for any such purposes any written or printed matter which is barred from the use of or transmission through the United States mail service under any regulation of the U.S. postal authorities.
