(A) Each person engaged in peddling or soliciting for the sale of goods or services at the residence of a prospective buyer shall disclose his or her name and the company or product that he or she represents, and shall immediately leave the premises if requested to do so.
(B) It is unlawful for any peddler or solicitor to misrepresent the purpose of his or her call or to use any plan, scheme or rule which misrepresents the purpose.
