§ 96.25 USAGE REGULATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS.
   (A)   The following regulations shall be in full force and effect with respect to the portion of Blackford High School Trail lying north of Park Avenue within the limits of the incorporated city.
   (B)   The regulations are as follows.
      (1)   Parking is only permitted in designated parking areas, and no parking is allowed along streets, highways or roadways.
      (2)   Trail hours are from dawn until dusk seven days a week, and use of the trail outside of these hours is prohibited.
      (3)   Users of the trail do so at their own risk.
      (4)   Those using the trail must stop at all crossroads and must obey all signage.
      (5)   Users must remove all trash and waste from the trail and the property of adjoining landowners.
      (6)   The only animals allowed on the trail are pets which are kept on a leash. Pets must be kept off of private property, and owners must clean up after their pets and must not throw animal waste or other trash onto adjoining landowners’s property.
      (7)   All motorized vehicles are prohibited on the trail, including scooters, snowmobiles, all-terrain vehicles, golf carts, go-karts and other similar motorized vehicles. E-bikes and peddle-assisted bikes are allowed on the trail as long as they do not exceed a speed of 15 mph.
      (8)   Electric personal assistive mobility devices which are a single passenger, self-balancing mode of transport with a maximum speed of 15 mph are permitted on the trail.
      (9)   No person on the trail shall be in possession of or under the influence of alcoholic beverages or illegal substances.
      (10)   No overnight camping or campfires are allowed on the trail.
      (11)   Due to the hazard for creating fires, smoking is prohibited on the trail.
      (12)   No firearms, explosives, destructive devices or fireworks are permitted on the trail.
      (13)   Hunting is prohibited on the trail.
      (14)   Vandalizing or intentional destruction or damage to the trail or to any improvements located along the trail is a crime which shall be referred to the County Prosecutor, and the city will pursue recovery of the cost of repair or replacement from the offender.
