§ 93.04 FAILURE TO ABATE AND COLLECTION OF COSTS.
   (A)   If a person notified to abate a nuisance neglects or fails to abate as directed, then the city may perform the action or actions required to abate said nuisance, keeping an accurate account of expenses incurred. An itemized expense account shall be certified and filed with the Clerk-Treasurer.

   (B)   The Clerk-Treasurer shall send by certified mail a statement of the total expenses incurred to the property owner who has failed to abide by the notice to abate, and if the amount shown by the statement has not been paid within one month, then the Clerk- Treasurer shall certify the costs to the County Auditor. The amount due shall then be collected with, and in the same manner as, general property taxes and disbursed into the General Fund of the city.
