(A) Within the limits of the city, no person shall keep or permit to be kept on his or her premises any horse, mare, colt, mule, jackass, jenny, burro, pony, bull, ox, calf, goat, sheep, hog, pig, llama, alpaca or any other hoofed animal unless such person shall have been engaged in a farming operation involving these animals on such premises prior to the passage of this subchapter.
(B) This section shall not apply to any animal brought into the city for a circus, parade or animal show or exhibition.
