Sec. 5.05 DEPARTMENT OF FIRE AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES

The Chief of Fire and Emergency Medical Services shall be the Director of the Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services and shall be appointed or removed by the Mayor with the consent of Council. He shall be responsible for fire services and emergency medical services and such other duties and functions consistent with his office as directed by the Mayor.
