(A) Structural members. Walls, partitions or supporting members, sills, joists, rafters or other structural members shall not excessively list, lean or buckle and shall not be rotted, deteriorated or damaged, and shall not have holes or cracks which might admit rodents.
(B) Floors or roofs. Shall have adequate supporting members and strength to be reasonably safe for the purpose used.
(C) Foundations. Foundation walls, piers or other foundation supports shall not be deteriorated or damaged so as to dangerously reduce their intended load bearing characteristics.
(D) Means of egress. Steps, stairs, landings, porches, or other parts or appurtenances shall be maintained in such condition that they will not fail or collapse. Post and railings shall be structurally sound. Every stair riser shall be reasonably uniform in height, and treads shall be sound and securely fastened in position and strong enough to bear a concentrated load of 300 pounds over an area of four square inches without danger of breaking through.
(E) Egress facilities. Adequate facilities for egress in case of fire or panic shall be provided.
(F) Interior wall coverings. Interior walls and ceilings of all rooms, closets and hallways shall be finished of suitable materials, which will, by use of reasonable household methods promote sanitation and cleanliness, and shall be maintained in such a manner so as to enable the occupants to maintain reasonable privacy between various spaces.
(G) Exterior wall coverings. All siding or exterior wall coverings shall be painted or sealed to be weather tight, with no holes or excessive cracks or decayed boards which permit air to penetrate wall cavities.
(H) Exterior elements. The roof, flashings, exterior walls, basement walls, floors, and all doors and windows exposed to the weather shall be constructed and maintained so as to be weather tight.
(I) Chimneys. There shall be no chimneys or parts thereof which are in danger of falling, or in such condition or location as to constitute a fire hazard.
(J) Floor surfaces. There shall be no use of the ground for floors. All floor coverings shall be safe and securely attached.
(K) Roof coverings. All roof coverings shall be secure and capable of preventing water entry into the building structure. A violation of this section is punishable as a misdemeanor.
