Monuments shall be placed in locations on the boundary of the subdivision and within it as required by M.S. Chapter 505, as it may be amended from time to time. Steel monuments shall be placed at all lot corners, block corners, angle points, points of curves in streets and at intermediate points as shown on the final plat. All federal, state, county or other official benchmarks, monuments or triangulation stations in or adjacent to the property shall be preserved in precise position. Benchmark monuments shall be installed in locations approved by the city engineer.
