The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board constituted in the city on October 25, 1995 is hereby abolished. There is hereby established in its place a Harker Heights Parks and Recreation Advisory Board composed of six members and two alternates, to be appointed by the City Council. It is established as an advisory board to the City Council in matters concerning the Harker Heights Parks and Recreation Department.
