Political signs, not exceeding a cumulative total of more than 32 square feet in area per premises (and six feet in height for individual signs) shall be permitted in nonresidential areas. All political signs shall be removed not later than ten days after the occurrence of election or voting day or event to which the political sign makes reference to or to which such sign is relevant. Temporary political signs shall not be posted before the 60th day prior to election.
