§ 113.20 HEALTH EXAMINATION.
   (A)   No food handler's registration certificate for use in the city shall be issued by the Bell County Health Department to any person required by law or by this chapter to have or exhibit such a certificate certifying the holder to be free from contagious, infectious, or communicable diseases until the applicant for such certificate shall have been first tested and examined with a recognized standard test for syphilis which must be given under the supervision of a physician licensed to practice in Bell County, Texas.
   (B)   In addition to division (A) of this section, each such applicant shall be required to be further examined for tuberculosis by a tuberculin skin test and/or x-ray examination of the lungs. In the event the applicant takes a tuberculin skin test and it shows a positive reaction, such applicant shall be required to have an x-ray examination of the lungs by a licensed physician in Bell County, Texas, or by the Bell County Health Department.
   (C)   If the applicant is found to have a non-reactive result of the standard serological test for syphilis and to have no evidence of active tuberculosis then the applicant must undergo a physical examination and secure from a licensed physician practicing in Bell County, Texas, a certificate certifying that the applicant is free of all contagious, infectious, and communicable diseases including tuberculosis and venereal diseases. After the above has been accomplished the applicant shall then present his physical examination certificate to the Bell County Health Department and shall thereupon be issued a food handler's registration certificate. Each such certificate must be renewed by each such applicant each 12 months by the same procedure as outlined above.
