(A) The following words, terms, and phrases, when used in this subchapter, shall have the meaning ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning.
BUSINESS DAYS. Normal working business days (i.e., Monday through Friday of each calendar week, exclusive of days when the city hall is closed).
GRAFFITI. Markings (including inscriptions, slogans, drawings, or paintings) made on tangible property with paint, an indelible marker, or an etching or engraving device, and without the effective consent of the owner of such property.
HEARING OFFICER. The City Manager.
OFFICIAL. The City Building Official.
OWNER. A person who owns, occupies, or has the right to control tangible property.
(B) The terms AEROSOL PAINT, ETCHING OR ENGRAVING DEVICE, and INDELIBLE MARKER shall have the meanings set forth in Texas Penal Code § 28.08.
