§ 91.28 SUMMONING WITNESSES.
   The Fire Marshal shall have the power to summon witnesses before him to testify in relation to any matter which is by the provisions of this chapter a subject of inquiry and investigation, and may require the production of any book, paper, or document deemed pertinent thereto. The Fire Marshal is hereby authorized and empowered to administer claims and affirmations to any persons appearing as witnesses before him. The Fire Marshal and those persons assigned to the arson investigation team, as set forth in the Department Standard Operating Procedure, shall work in conjunction with the Police Department for the authority and authorization for the enforcement of applicable laws, ordinances, and codes. The Fire Marshal or Director shall make all arrangements for the assistance from outside agencies to assist in any fire investigation deemed appropriate.
