§ 123.15 ADMINISTRATIVE DISCIPLINARY ACTION.
   (A)   The Building Official may take disciplinary action against a registrant or the registrant's designated primary agent as set forth in this section.
   (B)   The Building Official may suspend a certificate of registration for a period of not more than one year after determining that the registrant or the registrant's designated primary agent has done any of the following:
      (1)   Taken out a permit in the name of a person authorized to do the work, and thereafter permitted a person not authorized by this code to do the work;
      (2)   Tampered with, diverted from, or in any way interfered with the proper action, connection, or registration of any public utility service;
      (3)   Employed any person not licensed as required by law to perform construction operations;
      (4)   Permitted an unlawful or fraudulent use of a registration issued under this chapter;
      (5)   Performed any work that is in violation of this chapter and then failed or refused to make corrections necessary for the work to conform to this chapter, or has failed to pay any re-inspection fees or penalties; or
      (6)   Performed any work in violation of any restrictions imposed on the registrant's certificate of registration;
      (7)   Provided false or materially misleading information as part of an application for an original or renewal certificate of registration under this chapter;
      (8)   Violated or attempted to violate any provision of this chapter;
      (9)   Failed to pay an administrative penalty assessed under this chapter; or
      (10)   Conspired with another to violate or attempt to violate a provision of this chapter.
   (C)   The Building Official may revoke a certificate of registration after determining that two or more new grounds for suspension have occurred within two years following any prior disciplinary action under this chapter against a registrant or its designated primary agent. In the event of such revocation, the registrant shall be ineligible for issuance of a new certificate for a period of three years.
   (D)   The Building Official may impose an administrative penalty on a person who violates this chapter. The penalty shall not exceed $500 per violation. Such penalty may be assessed in addition to any other disciplinary action, penalty or fine authorized by this chapter.
