§ 122.01 DEFINITIONS.
   In this chapter, the following words and terms shall have the following meanings unless the context indicates otherwise.
   CERTIFICATE OF RETAIL ELECTRICAL PROVIDER. That person, firm, corporation, entity or partnership otherwise certified by the state in accordance with the Tex. Utility Code Ch. § 39.352, as amended.
   COMMERCIAL CUSTOMER. The separately metered end-use, non-residential customer who purchases and ultimately consumes electricity.
   PUBLIC UTILITY COMMISSION. The Texas Public Utility Commission.
   RETAIL CUSTOMER. The separately metered end-use customer who purchases and ultimately consumes electricity.
   RETAIL ELECTRICAL PROVIDER. A person, firm, corporation, entity or partnership that sells electric energy to retail customers in the state. A RETAIL ELECTRICAL PROVIDER may not own or generate assets.
