Any person, firm, or corporation who violates any provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined in an amount not exceeding $1,000. Each day on which a violation of, or failure to comply with, this chapter continues shall constitute a separate violation and shall be punishable as such. The city also is entitled to pursue all other criminal and civil remedies to which it is entitled under the authority of other statutes or other ordinances.
