(A) The approval of volunteer recognition shall rest with those empowered to sign the appropriate document. The City Manager shall determine that the recognition is compatible with the services rendered.
(B) Recognition of volunteers is limited only by the resourcefulness in locating and identifying those who make the city a better place to live and work. Such recognition can be expected to encourage further volunteer efforts within the city.
