§ 71.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
   (B)   (1)    Any violation of any of the provisions of §§ 71.01 through 71.06 of this chapter shall be punishable by a fine as set by the Board of Trustees from time to time.
      (2)   A second violation of any of the provisions of §§ 71.01 through 71.06 of this chapter, in addition to any fine imposed, shall be grounds for the revocation of any permit issued for a period of up to one year.
      (3)   The Board of Trustees reserves the right to amend or repeal §§ 71.01 through 71.06 of this chapter at any time, and is such amendment or repeal affects the right of a permit holder, shall notify said permit holder by certified mail.
      (4)   No person receiving a permit pursuant to the terms of §§ 71.01 through 71.06 of this chapter shall have any right to the continuation of §§ 71.01 through 71.06 of this chapter, regardless of the costs of rendering a golf cart in compliance with the requirements as set forth in §§ 71.01 through 71.06 of this chapter for the purpose of its operation on village streets, state roads or county roads.
      (5)   The village shall not under any circumstances be liable for any expense incurred by an applicant or permit holder for the costs of rendering a golf cart in compliance with the requirements as set forth in §§ 71.01 through 71.06 of this chapter for the purpose of its operation on village streets, state roads or county roads.
