(A) (1) A person who operates a golf cart on village streets, state roads or county roads must obtain a permit from the Village Clerk, as provided herein. Permits shall be valid for a period of one year and must be renewed annually.
(2) Every application for a permit shall be on a form supplied by the village.
(3) The applicant must furnish evidence of insurance coverage, pay an application fee as set by the Board of Trustees from time to time to the village and sign a waiver of liability releasing the village from any and all future claims involving the operation of the golf cart on village streets, state roads or county roads.
(B) The Village President or the Board of Trustees may suspend or revoke a permit granted hereunder upon a finding that the holder thereof has violated any of the provisions of this subchapter or there is evidence that the holder thereof cannot safely operate a golf cart on the designated roadways.
