All plats of a subdivision, after the same have been submitted and approved, as provided in this chapter, shall be copied upon a book of plats of the county and shall be filed and kept by the county among the county records. No amendment to such plat shall be entitled to record in the County Recorder’s Office until it shall have been approved by the Director of the Plan Commission.
