§ 119.066 CITY CLERK AUTHORIZATION.
   The City Clerk of the city is hereby authorized and directed to issue license to any person or persons, firm or corporation to own, operate, or conduct within the city a business consisting wholly or in part of the sale of fresh or smoked meats at retail upon filing with the Clerk a bond, to be approved by the City Council, in the sum of $100, conditioned upon the faithful compliance by the licensee with all the provisions of the state laws now or hereafter enacted relating to the business of selling fresh or smoked meats at retail and all ordinances, or parts of ordinances, of the city now in effect or which may be hereafter adopted relating in any way to the business of selling fruit or smoked meats at retail within the city. Before the license shall be issued there shall be paid to the City Treasurer the license fee of $1. The license when issued shall entitle the licensee to conduct business until April 1 next following the issuance of the license, unless revoked sooner by the City Council for cause.
