§ 119.024 ARTICLES ALLOWED TO BE SOLD IN PUBLIC MARKETS.
   (A)   The following articles are allowed to be sold in public markets or market places: any article of food or food products of any nature whatsoever, provided that the handling, sale and storage of same complies with all sanitary regulations of the Health Department and the regulations of the city. It shall be unlawful to sell, display, expose or offer for sale any other articles than food or food products in a public market, or to sell, display, expose or offer for sale, or demonstrate or solicit patronage for any business, merchandise, goods or real estate.
   (B)   The term FOOD as used herein, shall include all articles used for food, drink, confectionery or condiment intended to be eaten or drank by man or other animals, whether simple, mixed or compound.
