(A) The City Council may, at any time, for sufficient cause proved to the satisfaction of the Council after notice and hearing, suspend or revoke any license granted under the provisions of this subchapter and order the business so licensed to be closed.
(B) After the notice closing the business, no business of the nature herein proposed to be licensed shall be conducted or carried on in the place until a new license shall have been issued under the provisions of this subchapter and the issuance thereof approved by the City Council or the suspension imposed by the City Council be lifted.
