§ 118.123 PROPERTY TO BE RESTORED TO OWNER.
   All stolen or embezzled property shall be restored to the owner thereof as soon as may be afterwards, and all other things seized by virtue of any warrant shall be, upon conviction, destroyed under the discretion of the court, providing, however, that pursuant to the provisions of Public Act 122, being M.C.L.A. § 205.13, as amended by Public Act 615 of 2006, being M.C.L.A. § 445.2001, any monies and other useful property lawfully seized and not stolen or embezzled, shall be, upon conviction, turned over to the city if the same was seized by its officers under a search warrant duly issued, and all monies shall be credited to the General Fund of the city.
