The Chief of Police or his or her designee, may, upon complaint made under oath, request a search warrant, when satisfied that there is a reasonable cause to search for and seize any gaming apparatus or implements used or kept and provided to be used in unlawful gaming in any gaming house or place resorted to for unlawful gaming, or any articles, equipment, furniture, loud speakers and amplifying apparatus, adding machines, calculators, money changers and boxes and money found therein or in or on gambling apparatus or material used in connection with or promotion of gambling or gambling places.
