(A) In determining the number of parking spaces that shall be installed in each parking zone, a minimum of 20 feet in length, or the current industry standard, shall be allowed for each space for parallel parking when the space is interior, and a minimum of 18 feet, or the current industry standard, when the space is at the end of the zone. All parking shall be parallel to curb, unless the Chief of Police shall determine and the Council shall approve angle parking in any zone. A minimum of seven feet in width shall be allowed for parallel parking, and a minimum of eight feet in width shall be allowed for angle parking.
(B) The individual parking spaces shall be designated by lines painted or durably marked on the surface of the street or on the curbing.
(C) It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle in a way that the vehicle shall not be entirely within the limits of the space so designated.
