In order for a minor to become a member of the junior firefighters program, he or she must meet the following requirements:
A. Be at least 14 years old but not more than 18 years old.
B. Provide a certificate of examination by a physician licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey indicating that the proposed member is physically fit and suffering from no illness or disability that would prevent him/her from being a junior firefighter.
C. Be a resident of the Town of Hammonton.
D. Be approved by the Mayor and Council upon recommendation of the Fire Chief.
