No such request for approval as set forth in §§ 275-13 and 275-14 of this article shall be required for the tie-in of single-family dwellings fronting on an existing water main; however, the tie-in of such single-family dwellings shall continue to be governed in accordance with the provisions of Article I of this chapter.
