A. It is the purpose of this chapter to create and establish a Department of Parks and Recreation and provide for a Recreation Leader and other support staff who under the direction of the Mayor and Council shall be responsible for matters concerning Parks and Recreation.
B. It has been determined by the Town of Hammonton that a Department of Parks and Recreation and a Recreation Leader is necessary for the promotion of the public health, safety, welfare and quality of life of the citizens of the Town of Hammonton.
