(A) The Board of Public Works and Safety shall suspend any license issued under this chapter whenever any charge is filed with a court of competent jurisdiction with regard to a violation of any provision of this chapter, and the license shall remain suspended pending final disposition of the charge. If any person is convicted as a result of a violation of this chapter, the license shall be automatically revoked. Any license revoked under these conditions shall make the public garage for which it was issued ineligible to reapply or apply for another license for a period of not less than 1 year.
(B) Nothing contained in this chapter shall limit the lawful power or authority of the Mayor to revoke a license issued under this chapter according to the terms, conditions, and procedures provided by law.
