§ 121.70 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   MASSAGE THERAPIST. An individual who has completed at least 400 in-school hours of education as a massage therapist at a school which has been accredited by a State Commission on Proprietary Education or who has successfully passed the National Certification Examination conducted by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
   MASSAGE THERAPY. A profession in which the practitioner applies manual techniques or adjunctive therapies with the intention of positively affecting the health and well-being of the client through soft tissue manipulation.
