(A) Whenever a petition for rezoning or a zoning variance is filed with the Board of Zoning Appeals, the Board shall forward, or cause to be forwarded, a copy of the petition to each Council member of the Common Council and to the Democratic and Republican precinct committee members of the precinct in which the real estate to be affected is located.
(B) This notification shall be in addition to and not in derogation of all existing notification requirements.
