(A) Air pollution inspectors shall be employees of the Air Pollution Control Department, preferably qualified by technical training in the theory and practice of the construction and operation of combustion and process equipment or in the theory and practice of smoke abatement and air pollution control.
(B) The duties of the air pollution inspectors shall be of to carry out the directions of the Chief of Air Pollution Control in all matters relating to enforcement of Chapter 90, and to aid and assist the Chief in the efficient discharge of his or her duties.
