It shall be unlawful for any person being the owner, occupant or lessee or having control of any room in which there has been a case of contagious or infectious disease dangerous to public health to fail, refuse or neglect to disinfect the room at the first opportunity in accordance with the methods which may be prescribed by the physician in the case of contagious or infectious disease, or if there is no attending physician, the Secretary of the Board of Health.
