§ 30.06 POLICE OFFICER TO BE PRESENT AT COUNCIL MEETINGS.

(A) The City Police Department shall provide a minimum of 1 uniformed on-duty police officer to be present at all meetings of the Hammond Common Council.

(B) That these meetings include the regularly scheduled monthly meetings, including the period before the meeting during which the caucus takes place.

(C) The assigned officer shall remain at the meeting place until the conclusion of the meeting, which shall include until all the Council members leave.
