§ 110.03 CITY UNIFORM CENTRAL MONITORING SYSTEM.
   (A)   To the extent it is possible to do so without cost to the city, the Police/Fire Department Communications is in charge of a uniform central monitoring system to receive audible calls for alarms. The system shall have a capacity to meet present needs and the ability to expand for future needs, and shall be available to those who meet the requirements for permits under this chapter.
   (B)   An alarm user’s fire alarm system may be monitored by any outside monitoring facility (hereinafter referred to as an OMF) chosen by the alarm user or his or her alarm business. The OMF is then responsible to call into HPD/HFD communications for the activation of the alarm.
   (C)   The OMF of an alarm system customer must provide either the name and address or the 4-digit code (provided by the records division supervisor) of the residence and or business for which they are calling the activated alarm for. The 4-digit number is assigned to each individual alarm in the city.
